DWI Dude Jamie Belagia sponsors Texas Super Racing Series

A week before the 9th annual Texas Stock Car Spectacular, the Texas Super Racing Series found a new sponsor: a DWI attorney.

The Series retained the Law Office of Jamie Balagia for title sponsorship of the race, held October 22 in Kyle, Texas at Thunder Hill Raceway. The name of the race? DWIDUDE.COM 50.

Balagia was pleased to be sponsoring the race, as well as excited about attending the race and seeing the fans. “It’s great to see professional racing in the Austin area, especially at Thunder Hill,” Balagia said. “This is a top-notch series and racetrack with super fan participation. I enjoy watching the excitement of the fans as much as the race itself.”

When he was offered the chance to sponsor the race, Balagia said the choice was a no-brainer. “I just couldn’t say no!”

While Balagia enjoys racing and the festive environment, he is quick to note the severity of drinking and driving. “I hope that none of you racing fans find yourself in need of a criminal attorney,” he said, “but if one of your friends or family members gets in a jam, we’d be honored to help out. Remember, smart racing fans don’t drink and drive, but if you drink responsibly, you shouldn’t wrongfully be convicted of DWI.”

A spokesperson for the Series said he was “proud that Jamie Balagia accepted this opportunity to headline our series. He is a great person—along with his entire staff, I have enjoyed working with them to get this deal wrapped up.”

Balagia, known regionally as the “DWI Dude,” has an extensive background in DWI law and an impressive array of credentials. His memberships and affiliations include the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National College for DUI Defense, the San Antonio Bar Association, the Austin Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He has attended seminars and classes nationwide as both a student and instructor.
