Why should you hire me?

"If you were arrested for an Ohio DUI, OVI or other drunk driving charge, you should hire me for my experience defending these types of cases. Over the past 19 years, I have gained experience in all aspects of defending individuals charged with Ohio OVI and DUI. Being thorough in the preparation of your drunk driving case is of utmost importance. Keeping one step ahead of DUI law enforcement falls shortly behind. I have experience in all phases of defending a DUI or OVI charge, including investigation, administrative hearings, pre-trial hearings, motion hearings, trials and appeals, including appeals to the Ohio Supreme Court.

I leave no stone unturned when it comes to defending a DUI charge. I check everything; over and over again. I go to the scene of the DUI stop. If there is a breath test, I go to the police station to see where the breathalyzer is located; I review the logs for the breathalyzer to check compliance with testing regulations. If there is a blood of urine test, I check compliance and qualification of laboratory procedures and personnel. If a videotape of the DUI stop exists, I analyze that tape to determine what evidence can be used most favorably to the DUI or OVI defense. I will obtain or review copies of all police reports, speak to witnesses and obtain any and all information pertinent to the defense of your DUI case.

I am currently certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST). I am also certified by National Patent Analytical Systems, Inc. (the manufacturer of the BAC DataMaster), in the operation, diagnostic verification and calibration of the BAC DataMaster breath alcohol testing instrument. In addition to speaking at DUI / OVI seminars, I continue to attend seminars concerning drunk driving defense both locally and nationally.

Not only am I one of the most knowledgeable defense attorneys in the area of DUI defense, I have more qualifications than most law enforcement officers in the DUI / OVI area of the law. I'm always availabe for a FREE DUI / OVI consultation"
