Attorney Kirby Riffel
Arkansas DWI defense lawyer Kirby Riffel began his illustrious career before graduating law school as president of his class. Upon graduation, he accepted a job with the best law firm in the mid-south - in Memphis. He moved to Pocahontas, Arkansas in 1971 to represent people rather than big corporations and insurance companies.
Arkansas DWI / DUI attorney Kirby Riffel became interested in drunk driving defense and criminal law through indigent appointments before the public defender system was instituted in Arkansas. Mr. Riffel defended many serious charges and have never lost a murder or rape case. Mr. Riffel first became interested in DWI arrests because nobody thought they could be defended and won.
As a well known DWI attorney, Mr. Riffel has been twice voted by his peers as "one of the best DWI lawyers in Arkansas". In 2005, he was awarded the Champion of Justice award by the Arkansas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Recently, the American Bar Association sent Mr. Riffel to Ukraine to lecture judges and lawyers on the role of an American defense lawyer. He has also lectured to Arkansas Municipal Judges and conducted two seminars for Arkansas lawyers on the topic of DWI defense and the associated penalties.

Why should you hire us?
"You should hire our firm only if you want to fight for your right to be found not guilty of DWI. We can’t change the facts, but we have fifteen large notebooks in our office of material we have collected that can be used to cast doubt on the state’s faulty evidence and exaggerated testimony—and that was before we began to keep this material electronically or we would have 40 volumes. We believe a large number of DWI and drunk driving arrests in Arkansas are unjust and that these arrests are provoked and fueled by the desire for more money and votes by politicians at the expense of normal citizens who have no idea they are doing anything wrong. We want to correct this moral and legal embarrassment to the state of Arkansas. We can only do this one client at a time. We spend hours every day dealing with DWI problems and we put this passion and experience at the service of all our clients. We fight to win. Please don't hesitate to contact our firm for a free consultation."

Renting a car may be difficult (although we know of several companies that will do so), as is getting car insurance. There may be a requirement to attend special alcohol programs, or AA meetings.
